PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

ALCOBOND FR Facade System is more than a piece of panel. A wide variety of alloy, surface enhancement, and coating system may be selected and combined into new creation of FR diversity, while ensuring the facade as a whole is protected in the event of a fire. This is why ALCOBOND FR Facade System is the ultimate solution as it provides total facade protection of any structure.
  • ALCOBOND FR Facade System comprises of the standard ALCOBOND FR Panels within a non-load bearing fire-safe wall assembly.
  • ALCOBOND FR Facade System has been tested and certified for fire propagation characteristics to a large-scale facade test.
  • ALCOBOND FR Panels have passed the ASTM E84 test in Class A.
  • ALCOBOND FR Panels have obtained EN13501-1 certification for B-s1,d0 which tests reaction to fire classification.
  • ALCOBOND FR Facade System has been tested and has passed the NFPA 285 test, which tests the entire cladding system as a whole.

  • Coils

Alcobond Manufacturing LLC ensures that we purchase Aluminium coils of the highest quality from leading suppliers to manufacture our ACP.
The ACP is made up of a modified mineral-filled core, producing a Fire Retardant (FR) Aluminium Composite Panel. The core and adhesive film are heated and undergo a melting process providing a high strength lamination with the Aluminium coil.
Once the appropriate alloy has been assigned,
Aluminium Coils are treated and coated (painted) as per the specifications of the client.

installation steps

TEN EASY STEPS OF INSTALLATION:
  1. Fix the G.I brackets (40x40x100 2.8mm long) on base wall by using the Anchor Bolts (8 x 80mm LG). Refer to elevation on specifying brackets and runners.
  2. G.I Runner (40x45x1.8mm) will be fixed to brackets by using the Hex Head bolt M8x20 LG with Nut, refer to elevation on specifying brackets and runners.
  3. Adjust the runner alignment using plumb line and tighten the bolts.
  4. Fix the G.I holders on base wall by using simple S.S Nails for the Rockwool.
  5. Apply Rockwool (50mm, 75kg/m3) by using the G.I holder and ensure that locking plate is inserted and locked properly.
  6. Locate the Aluminum Composite Panel (ACP) and fix the cleat of ACP to the runners by using 10# PH. ST. 4.8 x 19mm LG.
  7. After installing all ACPs, apply FR Silicone in the grooves and fill the gap between Cleat angle and Runner.
  8. Insert G.I U Channel (12x15x.9mm) in the groove stuffed with Rockwool with Screw 10# PH. ST. 6.3x50mm LG.

ALCOBOND Aluminum Composite Panels can be easily cleaned with clean water. Method of Cleaning Routine cleaning of the ACP surface is recommended to clean once in a year. The ACP surface should be water rinse with moderate pressure to remove the dust and soil first. ACP can be simply washed with water and mild detergent or %10-5 IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) solution on is used for removing soil with so sponges and/or so rags. The washing should be done with uniform pressure, and normally the opera on is done with a horizontal motion first and then with a vertical motion, followed by a clean water rinse. Solvents and emulsion cleaners, likely to have harmful or softening problems to the coating surface, should be also spots-tested before use. When alcohol is used, it is safe to dilute less than %50 with water. If undiluted solution is required, pre-tests should be done at the small invisible area, to confirm no damage to the finish. Caution Do not use strong organic solvents, such as MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone), MIBK (Methyl Iso-butyl Ketone), Triclene and paint thinner. Do not use strong alkali, strong acid and/or abrasive cleaners. If these solvents and cleaners were used, the paint might be swelled or removed. Do not mix different cleaners. If cleaners needed to be mixed, please follow the manufacturer's instructions. Please consult with your distributor and refer to ALCOBOND Manual before undertaking cleaning process.
